Bank of Baroda Wealth Management Services Eligibility Criteria
2026
Candidates applying for Bank of Baroda Wealth Management
Services Recruitment 2026 must carefully check the post
wise eligibility criteria related to nationality, age limit, educational
qualification, work experience and credit history as on the cut off date 01st
March 2026.
Nationality
/ Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal
or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with
the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin
who has migrated from specified countries such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka
and certain East African countries with the intention of permanently settling
in India, subject to producing a valid certificate of eligibility issued by the
Government of India.
Age
Limit (as on 01.03.2026): For AVP
II – Group Head, the minimum age is 31
years and maximum age is 45 years. For AVP
II – Territory Head, the minimum age is 27
years and maximum age is 40 years. For Deputy
Manager – Senior Relationship Manager, the minimum age is 24
years and maximum age is 35 years, and for Deputy
Manager – Wealth Strategist (Investment & Insurance), the
minimum age is 24 years and
maximum age is 45 years, with
applicable upper age relaxations for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and Ex‑servicemen as per
Government of India norms.
Educational
Qualification (Common Requirement): All posts under Bank
of Baroda Wealth Management Services 2026 require a Degree
(Graduation) in any discipline from a University
recognized by the Government of India / Government bodies / AICTE. Desirable
qualifications for certain posts include a 2‑year full time Post Graduate
Degree / Diploma in Management and relevant Regulatory
certifications such as NISM / IRDA, especially for investment
and insurance focused roles.
Post-wise
Work Experience – AVP II Group Head: Candidates for AVP
II – Group Head must have a minimum of 10
years of post‑qualification experience in managing sales
in Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Investments or related financial
services. Out of this, they should have at least 5 years of
experience managing a large team of Relationship Managers and Team Leaders at
regional level or equivalent senior leadership capacity.
Post-wise Work
Experience – AVP II Territory Head: For the AVP
II – Territory Head position, candidates must possess a
minimum of 6 years of experience in
relationship management in Wealth Management, out of which at least 2
years should be as a Team Leader handling a team of Relationship
Managers and driving affluent and high net worth client business.
Post-wise
Work Experience – Deputy Manager Senior Relationship Manager: Candidates
applying for Deputy Manager – Senior
Relationship Manager must have a minimum of 3
years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Wealth
Management with Public Sector Banks, Private Banks, Foreign Banks, Broking
Firms, Security Firms or Asset Management Companies, with proven ability to
acquire and manage HNI and affluent client relationships.
Post-wise
Work Experience – Deputy Manager Wealth Strategist (Investment &
Insurance): For the role of Deputy Manager – Wealth Strategist
(Investment & Insurance), candidates must have at least 3
years of experience as a Relationship Manager or
Investment Counsellor in Wealth Management, with excellent knowledge of investment
products, PMS, AIF, mutual funds and insurance products and
strong advisory skills for high value clients.
Experience
Conditions: Only post‑qualification experience will
be considered and any experience of less than six months in an organization as
on 01.03.2026 will not be counted. Experience in clerical cadre will
not be considered for determining eligibility for Bank of Baroda Wealth
Management Services professional posts.
Credit
History Requirement: Candidates must maintain a satisfactory
credit history with a minimum CIBIL score of 680 (or
as per bank policy at the time of joining). Applicants with loan or credit card
defaults, adverse reports from CIBIL or other credit rating agencies or
unsatisfactory credit profiles will be treated as ineligible and their
candidature can be rejected at any stage, including after selection.
Other
Eligibility Conditions: Candidates must be
willing to serve anywhere in India, should meet the prescribed reservation and
category criteria with valid SC/ST/OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwD certificates,
and must be able to produce all original documents related to age, education,
work experience and category at the time of interview and document
verification. Merely satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria will not
confer any right to be called for the online test or personal interview under Bank

Bank of Baroda Wealth Management Services Salary 2026
Candidates selected through the Bank of Baroda Wealth Management
Services Recruitment 2026 will be appointed on a fixed
term contractual basis in specialist wealth management roles with compensation
linked to qualification, experience and market benchmarks.
Remuneration
Structure: Bank of Baroda will offer a competitive consolidated
remuneration to AVP II – Group Head, AVP II – Territory Head, Deputy Manager –
Senior Relationship Manager and Deputy Manager – Wealth Strategist (Investment
& Insurance) based on the candidate’s educational qualifications, total
and relevant work experience, overall suitability, last drawn salary and
prevailing market benchmark for similar wealth management
positions.
Contract
Tenure & Service Conditions: The engagement as
Officer on Contractual Basis (OCB) is for an initial period of 5
years from the date of joining, which may be renewed or
extended at the sole discretion of the bank, subject to satisfactory
performance, for an additional period of up to 5 more years, but
not beyond the candidate’s 60 years of age.
All selected candidates will be governed by the bank’s extant policies
regarding probation, performance review, termination, and other service
conditions applicable to contractual officers.

required to pay a non‑refundable application fee/intimation charge as per their
category through the integrated payment gateway.
Application
Fee for UR/EWS/OBC: For candidates belonging to Unreserved
(UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other
Backward Classes (OBC), the application fee is Rs.
850/- (inclusive of GST) plus applicable payment gateway
charges, which must be paid online while submitting the Bank of Baroda Wealth
Management Services online application form 2026.
Application
Fee for SC/ST/PwD/ESM/Women: For SC,
ST, Persons with Disability (PwD), Ex‑servicemen/Disabled Ex‑servicemen
(ESM/DESM) and Women candidates, the fee is Rs.
175/- (intimation charges only, inclusive of GST) plus
payment gateway charges. The fee once paid is non‑refundable in all
circumstances, whether or not the online test is held or the candidate is
shortlisted.
Online
Payment Mode: The BOB WMS application fee 2026 must be paid using Debit
Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI or other online methods through
the payment gateway integrated with the application form. If the online
transaction is not successfully completed, candidates must re‑register and make
the payment again; multiple payments will not be refunded by the bank.

The Bank of Baroda Wealth Management
Services Recruitment 2026 selection process involves
multiple stages including shortlisting, online assessment and
interview/psychometric evaluation to identify the most suitable wealth
professionals.
Shortlisting
& Application Scrutiny: Initially,
applications will be scrutinised based on eligibility, educational
qualifications, relevant work experience, domain expertise and other criteria
decided by the bank. Only shortlisted candidates, as per internal norms, will
be called for the next stages, and mere fulfilment of eligibility does not
guarantee shortlisting for Bank of Baroda WMS selection 2026.
Online
Test & Psychometric Assessment: The selection process
may include an online test followed
by a psychometric
test or other suitable assessments to evaluate the
candidate’s personality, communication, problem‑solving ability, efficiency,
innovation and willingness to work anywhere in India. The bank reserves the
right to conduct or waive the online test and/or psychometric test based on its
recruitment strategy.
Personal
Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal
Interview, where they will be assessed on domain knowledge,
relationship management skills, leadership potential (for AVP roles),
communication skills and overall suitability for wealth management roles.
Candidates must obtain at least 60% marks in
PI (55% for reserved categories), or such minimum qualifying marks as may be
decided by the bank.
Final
Merit & Provisional Selection: The final merit list
for Bank of Baroda WMS Recruitment 2026 will be prepared based on the
candidate’s performance in the online test (if conducted),
psychometric test and personal interview, as per weightage
decided by the bank. Only candidates who qualify in all stages and rank
sufficiently high in merit, subject to vacancy and category norms, will be
provisionally selected, and all decisions of the bank regarding shortlisting
and selection will be final and binding.
