Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidate
must be a citizen of India or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before
1st January 1972 with the intention of permanently settling in India or a
person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East
African countries of Tanzania, Zambia, etc., with the intention of permanently
settling in India (with eligibility certificate from the State Government).
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):
- Unreserved
& EWS (Male): 37 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1989)
- Unreserved
& EWS (Female): 40 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1986)
- BC / EBC
(Male & Female): 40 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1986)
- SC / ST
(Male & Female): 42 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1984)
Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for candidates
already in service under Central Government / Government of Bihar. Additional
10 years relaxation for Locomotor Disabled candidates.
Educational Qualification & Experience

/ I.T.I. / Diploma holder from a Polytechnic in Computer Science &
Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics &
Communication with minimum 01 year relevant experience.

Patna High Court Technical Assistant Recruitment 2026 Selection
Process
Selection will be made through the following stages:
1. Screening/Preliminary
Test (MCQ) – if number of applicants is high (qualifying only)
2. Written Test (MCQ) – 200
marks
3. Trade/Skill Test/Work
Proficiency Test – 100 marks
4. Interview – 30 marks
Final merit will be prepared on
the basis of marks obtained in Written Test + Trade/Skill Test + Interview
(total 330 marks). Minimum qualifying marks: 40% in Written Test & Skill
Test, 30% in Interview.
